WHAT IS PRP?

PRP, also known as Platelet-Rich Plasma, is human blood that is spun down and separated producing

a concentration of platelets above normal values. Platelets are the clotting cells of our blood, but they

also have great potential in enhancing healing of muscle, tendon, and ligament. Growth factors

released by platelets recruit reparative cells augment tissue repair, and accelerate soft tissue healing.

PRP For Hair Loss:

PRP therapy as a proactive therapeutic option for male and female patients experiencing hair loss.

PRP is an exciting non-surgical therapeutic options for patients who require stimulation of hair growth

for hair loss conditions such as balding. Doctors use a PRP serum that they formulate from the blood

of every individual patient. We inject this serum into the scalp so that the hair grows back thicker

and stronger with a better shine, luster, and richer colouring. The PRP serum contains a concentration

of growth factors, mesenchymal stem cell, cytokines, and other elements.

PRP for Skin Rejuvenation:

PRP facial rejuvenation, also called Vampire Facials and Dracula Therapy. PRP Facial treatments are

relied on to rejuvenate their skin and erase signs of aging like lines, wrinkles, creases, and folds of skin.

PRP therapy has the effect of restoring the layer of collagen and elastin under the skin so that it is

more effective in supporting suppleness. Our Practitioner may choose to administer the PRP injection

into the lines and problem areas. Alternatively, they may combine the treatment with micro-needling.

By using a skinpen, they create minute pores and massage the PRP serum into the skin so that it regains

its youthful glow.

What Are The Benefits Of Microneedling With PRP?

Microneedling with PRP is highly beneficial for treating acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles,

hyperpigmentation, sun damage, ageing spots, large pores, uneven skin texture, uneven skin tone

and even stretch marks. These benefits are mainly due to the ability of this procedure to promote

collagen and elastin formation in the skin.

How Often Can I Get Microneedling With PRP?

The number of sessions of Microneedling with PRP may depend on a number of factors,

like the skin condition, age and health of the individual. However, on average, an individual

may require between 3 to 6 sessions of microneedling with PRP, which are to be conducted

with a gap of one month in between.

Is Microneedling With PRP Painful?

Microneedling with PRP is not considered a painful procedure due to the use of very fine needles

that do not cause excessive trauma to the skin or discomfort to the patient. Moreover, most providers

apply a numbing cream to the skin before the procedure, which allows for a comfortable experience

for the patient. When the PRP is applied to the micro-needled skin, it does not cause any additional pain

or discomfort as the plasma is extracted from the individual’s own blood.

How Long Does It Take To Recover From Microneedling With PRP?

The recovery from microneedling with PRP may require up to 24 hours. During this time, the individual may

experience slight redness and tingle on the areas that have been targeted with the micro needling pen

or derma roller. However, after 24 hours, the individual is free to return back to work or their everyday activities.
